Sue Fisher's love of making things started at an early age, with inspiration and encouragement from both her mother, an artist whose patience and art supplies were vastly underappreciated until many years later, and her father, who built a kid-friendly workbench and happily confirmed that that lawnmower engine did go back together that way, mostly. A science geek at school, she brings the resulting combination of creativity, experimentation, analysis and attention to detail to her work.
Sue has been working with polymer clay since 2007 when its versatility drew her attention. While her ongoing exploration of the medium has lead her to an ever-increasing range of products, tools and techniques, she personally favours simple methods that can achieve striking results. Her classes teach practical techniques that can be used immediately to produce beautiful, wearable jewellery.
