Melanie Ihnen is a contemporary jeweller living in Sydney. She works in a range of materials from precious metals through to porcelain. Melanie's limited production works can be found in galleries throughout Australia.
In 2008 Melanie co-founded studio 20/17 a gallery composed of a workshop, retail area and an exhibition space. Studio 20/17 is committed to providing a venue for contemporary jewellery artists to challenge the boundaries of contemporary jewellery within the context of the applied and fine arts. Melanie works in the gallery creating her production, exhibition and one off commission works.
