Angela completed a trade in the Graphic Arts industry in 1994. Always having had an interest in colour, glass and design, in 2001 she began to experiment making beaded jewellery. Her hobby quickly grew into a business allowing her to leave her career as a Graphic Artist and move into full time jewellery making.
As beading became a popular hobby for many, she could see a need to have her jewellery look unique and to be different from what everybody else was making.
This required special beads that no one else had.
In 2007, she took a class with Melbourne lampwork artist Kathryn Wardill, and fell in love with glass. Angela now makes beads on a daily basis in her home studio in Sydney. Still working these beads into her jewellery designs to sell online, at The Rocks Markets, art and design markets, exhibitions and retail outlets. She also sells her loose beads on Etsy.
